BUDGET ACCOMMODATION
For those on a budget we recommend the Castle Rock Hostel which we have inspected and in in an amazing old town location right next to Edinburgh Castle. The hostel offers shared accommodation mostly in 4 bed rooms with self catering facilities, a lounge with wireless internet and is quite pleasant - obviously used by backpackers from around the world.
The hostel can also arrange budget excursions for those extending their stay. There are three hostels all located near each other with a total of about 500 beds.
