IntroductionOpen Studies classes mostly take place at the central University of Edinburgh campus at Buccleuch Place and George Square. During the three main teaching sessions most credit classes run over 11 weeks and last for two hours each week. Non credit classes run over 10 weeks and last for one-and-a-half or two hours. Credit Study involves completing and submitting coursework and taking formal assessments. Most courses carry 10 credit points. A small number of computing courses only carry 5 SCQF credit points.
